On April 14~17, 2005, International ICT Expo was organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Co-organisers were Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of Science & Technology, People's Republic of China Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

There were over 500 information and communications technology companies offering a broad range of applications and solutions for business development and they hailed from 23 countries and regions, such as Australia, Canada, Chinese mainland, India, Ireland, Israel, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States, in addition to the thousands of individual buyers who came from many different markets. Under the auspices of Torch Centre, more than 100 companies from 18 Science & Technology Industrial Parks were showcasing their latest ICT services and products at this Expo. As the delegates of UFIDA Software Engineering Co., Ltd.(USE) , Assistant President Mr. Long Fang , Chief Technical Officer Mr. Michael Sun, CORA Manager Ms. Yvette Pang attended the ICT Expo. Most of the exhibitors had over five years of expertise in this field. Some already had their own branded software designs and hardware products which were exported to Southeast Asia, Europe and the US. Others, such as UFIDA Software Engineering Co., Ltd has the capability to offer tailor-made software solutions and is servicing other mainland and overseas companies that outsource their IT application and development. With international ICT Expo bringing together international buyers as well as worldwide exhibitors, this event was not only a springboard for us to explore the world market but also an important platform for exchanging information.
